I am Phil Colpas, a journalist and editor with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Florida and more than 25 years’ experience cleaning up other people’s words.

I cut my teeth in community newspapers, then spent a decade at the Pelican Press in Sarasota, working my way from cub reporter to associate editor, followed by years editing a national healthcare IT magazine. The job was always the same: taking messy drafts and making them clear, accurate and readable.

Today I do the same thing for AI-composed content and, of course, for human-written drafts.

I fact-check and clean up AI-generated press releases, news, articles, YouTube scripts and blogs so they hold up under real scrutiny. I bring stiff, generic drafts and web copy to life so they read like a human wrote them, not a robot. When it really matters, I rewrite the piece from the ground up, using your AI draft as raw material. Think of it as credibility insurance for anything AI touches.
